In this internet age if we have to wait more than a minute to get something we give up. Download times? If it isn't instantaneous - faw-gettabowdit! Speaking for all small businesses out there, and I can only be envious of the speck on the pimple on the elbow of Amazon.com. I don't have the access to the up-to-the-minute shipping and 24/7 phone support (from India usually) that leads people to believe that, not only anything is possible, but that "next day - free of charge" is how fast (and free) things have always worked since the dawn of time. (According to Wikerpeedia Al gore only invented the interweb in the early 90's, lest we forget.) Anything I make and then ship takes time.
So just keep that in mind on December 20th when you are scrambling for something other than beef jerky from the local gas station for a thoughtful, heartwarming gift for your loved one and you find my website and you place an order. It won't arrive by the 25th. Don't let that stop you from placing an order though, the Orthodox church celebrates in early January.
Better yet, just order today already.
